sirens warn eminent doom so here's something most people probably don't really think about. although I've always been very honest about using emulation, I don't like it when you see 'traces' of emulation in the video, like state saved/loaded and whatnot because that's not part of the game. however, games that are set up like this, without a map or a loading file or something else that's 'stable' between levels, turn things into something of a puzzle.
