Seeing the footage in post, I think that at some point I was really close but then did the wrong thing, and from then on didn't re-explore that 'really close' because I was just getting too confused with minutia and other details. So I'm pretty confident that tomorrow I can clear this room with enough time 'left' that I can go look for the next one.
