daface, by exar 3000 Alright, boys and girls. Time to learn a bit more about the man behind the raocow. Back when I was a child, I was witness to a bicycle accident. A guy kind of drove off some cement steps at the appartment where I was living and landed on his face. The results were very bloody, and the story goes that I ran inside and it took DAYS for me to accept to go back outside. I trace this event as probably the reason why I'm... extremely sensitive in regards to facial damage. Like, in a movie I can see people beign stabbed and cut in two and exploded and its fine, but the smallest bit of damage to the face makes me SUPER uneasy, and sometimes have to look back or away. Just a bit of blood is enough. Hell, sometimes particularily heavy yet otherwise normal make-up will have that effect. And yes, this extends to caricatures, and lineart. I'm aware that the art in this game is very crude mspaint scribbles, but the grotesque imagery is enough to... activate a huge 'fight or flight' response in me. I was not comfortable. I wanted to go away. When the scene changed where there was no face there, I felt better, but more importantly... I didn't want to do anything. I wanted to leave things as they were. And this is why I just kind of calmly closed the game. I didn't want to see more. So I'm sorry everyone, and I'm sorry to the creator.
