if I compare my issues now versus the relative ease I had around enemies at the start of the run, I think the main difference is that... I think too much time to process. Like back then enemies and terrain where pretty simple and my reflex to just 'go' was pretty easy to follow but now I hesitate between hiding and waiting or just going and I end up just kind of standing still.
